El Carmen

This is the Mexican restaurant where in 1974, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham (they were a couple at the time) met Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie and John McVie to discuss them joining the next, and most successful incarnation of Fleetwood Mac.

Within a year, Fleetwood Mac released their 10th studio album entitled “Fleetwood Mac” which reached number one on the Billboard 200, and spent 37 weeks in the top 10, and more than fifteen months in the top 40. The album included three hit singles: “Over My Head”, “Rhiannon” and “Say You Love Me”.

In 1986 “Fleetwood Mac” was certified 5x platinum by the RIAA.
