The Music Center which is officially named the Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County is one of the largest performing arts centers in the United States.
The Center is home to many different venues including:
Mark Taper Forum
Walt Disney Concert Hall
Roy and Edna Disney / CalArts Theatre (REDCAT)
The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion
The Center is also home to four internationally famous resident companies: Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Opera, Los Angeles Master Chorale, and Center Theatre Group (CTG).
While on tour promoting her recently released album “Court and Spark”, Joni Mitchell recorded “Cactus Tree” here on March 4, 1974. The live recording appeared on her Miles of Aisles album.
