Although the original old house is gone, this is the location where Crosby, Stills & Nash’s self-titled first album “Crosby, Stills & Nash” cover was photographed by Henry Diltz. The photo was taken well before the group decided on a name, thus they can be seen in the incorrect order on the album.
After they settled on their now famous monicker, Diltz wanted them to go back to the same house and re-shoot the picture to match the name of the band. When they arrived at the home for the shot, they found that it hd been razed so they had to use the one they had.

When they decided to use this picture for their cover they were concerned that they were out of order sitting on the couch. The pic has Nash, Stills, and Crosby. So they went back to the spot to retake the photo and the house was gone.
