Figure 8 by Elliott Smith

Elliott Smith was a singer-songwriter that suffered from depression, alcoholism and drug dependence. He died on October 21, 2003 at the age of 34 years from two stab wounds to the chest, a suicide note was found.

Since his death, the wall where the cover of his fifth album “Figure 8” was shot has become a sort of unofficial tribute to him. The mural was recently restored. The album was released on April 18, 2000 by DreamWorks.
