Opened in 1947, and owned by the Los Angeles City Recreation and Park Department, the Travel Town Museum has a unique display of vehicles representing many modes and eras of conveyances, and is visited each week by hundreds of youngsters and adults who are interested in the development of transportation.
The cover of Mama Cass’ fifth and final solo album, “The Road Is No Place For A Lady” was released in 1972 and was photographed here by Ave Pildas.
