The cover shot of the Doors’ third album “Waiting for the Sun” which was produced by Paul A. Rothchild, was shot in Laurel Canyon by Paul Ferrara. The album was recorded at TTG Studios between February and May 1968 and was released by Elektra Records on July 3, 1968.
The album was to become the Doors only #1 album in the U.S. with the help of the songs “Hello I Love You” and “The Unknown Soldier
