Led Zeppelin used the famous image of the Hindenburg disaster at the Naval Air Engineering Station in high contrast black and white for the cover of their first album “Led Zeppelin“.
The album was released by Atlantic Records on January 12, 1969 and reached as high as #10 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
