The Band by The Band

The cover for The Band’s self-titled second album (also known as the Brown Album) was shot near Rick Danko’s home on John Joy Road in Zena by Elliott Landy.

The album was recorded in a home in the Hollywood Hills which was owned at the time by Sammy Davis Jr. in a pool house located in the back of his property.
