Yes, Moby Grape’s first album cover was shot in Fairfax, but not on the main drag. It was shot at Bolinas Road at Porteous, by Deer Park Villa, just before heading up over the hill to Bolinas. Lezzeni’s store is long gone, but at least a photo survives.
