I was shocked when I drove by. Had been living in the area for a couple years, and had no idea it was so close. My band did some shots out in front, and then the sign was stolen a couple months later. Bittersweet, for sure. Somebody out there has the sign. Maybe it will resurface when they die. A real part of music history.
