Richard Manuel
Richard was an original member of The Band and is remembered for his high falsetto singing on the group’s first album “Music From Big Pink“. He continued touring with The Band throughout 1974, then went on to perform or record with Bob Dylan, Bobby Charles, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, Kinky Friedman, Happy Traum, Neil Young, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris and others
He died in Florida, while on tour with the reunited Band on March 4, 1986. Richard was 42 at the time of his death.
