Al Caiola

Al was a well known session musician that had a few hits of his own, his cover of “The Magnificent Seven” reached thirty-five on the American Billboard Charts in 1961 and his version of “Bonanza” reached number nineteen, also in 1961.

His contributions with other artists included: Johnny Mathis on “Chances Are“, Bobby Darin on “Mack the Knife“, Paul Anka on “Diana” and Dion on his hit “Abraham, Martin and John“.
