Bobby Rydell

Bobby was a teen idol of the late 1950s and early 1960s. Bobby was from South Philadelphia which also produced singers Frankie Avalon and Fabian. He had numerous Top 20 Hits including¬† “Volare”, “Wild One,” “Little Bitty Girl” and “Swingin’ School.”

Bobby also had acting roles which include him co-starring as Hugo Peabody with Ann-Margret in the film “Bye Bye Birdie.”¬†

Bobby died on April 5, 2022 at the age of 79 due to complications from pneumonia.
