Bobby Rydell

Bobby was a teen idol of the late 1950s and early 1960s. Bobby was from South Philadelphia which also produced singers Frankie Avalon and Fabian. He had numerous Top 20 Hits including  “Volare”, “Wild One,” “Little Bitty Girl” and “Swingin’ School.”

Bobby also had acting roles which include him co-starring as Hugo Peabody with Ann-Margret in the film “Bye Bye Birdie.” 

Bobby died on April 5, 2022 at the age of 79 due to complications from pneumonia.
