Johnny Winter
Johnny was a blues musician that released close to 20 albums and earned seven Grammy nominations over his long career. In 1968, he was spotted by Mike Bloomfield, who invited him to play at his show at the Fillmore East in New York. That lead to him signing with Columbia Records.
In 1977, Johnny met Blues legend Muddy Waters , and would go on to produce several albums for him, which would earn him three Grammy Awards.
Johnny died in his hotel four days after his last performance at the Lovely Days Festival in Wiesen, Austria on July 16, 2014 at the age of 70. His cause of death was never officially released.
