I was fortunate enough to have met Brownsville Station when they played at a small venue in Pueblo Colorado. They played “Smokin In The Boy’s Room” for us before it was a big hit for them. They took me and some friends riding around in their limo, it was great, they were a great bunch of guys. Cub stood out the most to me because he seemed so “real”, “down to earth” very happy doing what he seemed to love. I enjoyed talking with him. I was so happy when their song did so well on the charts. R.I.P. Cub Koda, you were one of the best.
