Rick Danko

Rick was best known as a member of the Band. A charismatic artist, he played bass, violin, guitar and sang lead vocal on the group’s hits such as “The Weight” and “Stage Fright“. Rick died in his sleep on December 10, 1999 at the age of 55 from heart failure.

Levon Helm

Levon was the drummer with the Band and sang many of their hits. Levon passed away at the age of 71 on April 19, 2012 from the complications of throat cancer.

In 1994, Levon Helm and Rick Danko were both inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as members of the Band.
