Keith Knudsen was the drummer for the Doobie Brothers and was in the band during a string of hits that included “Taking It to the Streets”, “Minute By Minute” and “Black Water.” Knudsen joined the Doobie Brothers in 1974 and left after the band’s 1982 “Farewell Tour”. He later returned to the Doobies in 1993 until his health started to deteriorate due to battling cancer in 1995.

Keith died on February 8, 2005 at the age of 56.
