Born Paul Revere Dick, he first met singer Mark Lindsay at a bakery where Lindsay worked. They became Paul Revere & The Raiders in 1960 on the eve of their first album being released. In 1970, the band’s name was officially shortened to The Raiders and they released their biggest hit record: “Indian Reservation.”
Paul announced his retirement from the band in August 2014, he died at his home at the age of 76 on October 4, 2014.
