Buddy Holly
Born as Charles Hardin Holley on September 7, 1936. Holly has been described as “the single most influential creative force in early rock and roll”. He created and sang such hits as “Peggy Sue”, “Oh Boy”, and “Rave On”.
On February 3, 1959, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, J.P. Richardson, and pilot Roger Peterson were killed when their plane crashed into a cornfield outside Mason City, Iowa.

A great loss to the music world, the “Gentleman of Rock ‘n’ Roll” was only 23 when he died.
Buddy Holly was one of the best guitar players and his music was out of this world the best singer and I just loved his music if he had lived he would of been king of rock
