Shannon Hoon was the lead singer of Blind Melon. In 1992, Blind Melon released their debut album which went multi-platinum with the help of a major hit, “No Rain“.

On October 21, 1995 he died in the band’s tour bus in a parking lot. The probable cause of death was a cocaine overdose.
