The studio, which was designed and is owned by Prince was officially opened on September 11, 1987. There are several studios for recording both sound and film as well as a stage for occasional performances.
On April 21, Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call requesting that an ambulance be sent to Prince’s home at Paisley Park. Emergency responders found Prince unresponsive in an elevator and performed CPR, but a paramedic said he had been dead for about six hours.
