Founded by the late Bob Yeager, this family-owned business was started in the 1950’s when Bob was on the road with Tex Beneke and is today run by his son Tom and two stepsons, Jerry and Stan Keyawa.
Drummer Hal Blaine, a session musician who played drums on more than 7,000 recordings and coined the term “The Wrecking Crew” was a regular at the shop. Other famous musicians that frequented the shop include Terry Bozzio, Alex Van Halen, and Keith Moon.
The walls of the shop are filled with memorabilia and thousands of photographs and band logos from Chicago, The Cramps, Charlie Watts, Green Day, Elvis Costello and the Beatles are on display as well.
