Rollins was the leader and singer for the hardcore punk band Black Flag from August 1981 until mid-1986. After Black Flag broke up he established the record label and publishing company 2.13.61 to release his spoken word albums, and later formed the Rollins Band, best known for the songs “Low Self Opinion” and “Liar”.

Henry Rollins lived here for a short time in the 1980’s.
