Joni Mitchell was living at 8217 Lookout Mountain when she wrote the “Ladies Of The Canyon” album and parts of the “Blue” album. Also, Graham Nash wrote “Our House” when he was living here with her.
Frank Zappa’s infamous home during the sixties was located on the NW corner of Lookout Mountain and Laurel Canyon. He eventually moved because every nut in town knew where he lived.
Jim Morrison, Robby Krieger and John Densmore lived at 8826 Lookout Mountain in 1966.
