Former Location –
A well known apartment/hotel that welcomed show business guests from 1935-1955. Catering to both short-term and long-term guests, the hotel soon gained a reputation as a place where the famous could enjoy living in a quiet  setting that was shielded from tourists and autograph seekers by security patrols.

Many people have said that the hotel was the one referenced in  Big Yellow Taxi” by Joni Mitchell, but she has disputed this many times.

The hotel was torn down in 1959 and is now a parking lot for a bank.
