Former Location –
Hanover House, was an inexpensive hotel for transients located on the northwest corner of 43rd Street and Sixth Avenue (now called Avenue of the Americas).
In February of 1940, Woody Guthrie wrote his best known song, “This Land is Your Land” while living here.
