Former Location-
When the Hilton opened in 1969, it was originally called the International Hotel and was the largest hotel in the world. As of July 1, 2014 it is called the Westgate Las Vegas.

Whenever he stayed in Las Vegas, Elvis lived in the penthouse suite, located on the 30th floor, until his last performance there in December 1976.

Starting on July 31, 1969 Elvis performed for 58 consecutive sold out shows, breaking all Vegas attendance records. He continually broke his own attendance records in February 1970, August 1970, and August 1972.

Elvis was due to perform there again in 1978, to celebrate the opening of the North tower, but he died on August 16, 1977.
