Intercontinental Absurdities (often abbreviated I.C.A.), was a production / business entity formed by Frank Zappa and his associates in Los Angeles. The name appears connected to Zappa’s self-financed film, merchandising, and independent distribution ventures.
The company served as a kind of umbrella for his non-conventional production work (films, video, mail orders) rather than being a standard major studio/distributor.
