I loved this place. I saw Paul Horn, Jimmy Witherspoon, Ben Webster, Richie Kamuca, Joe Gordon, and so many others. I my buddy and I went practically every week for at least one show. We would sit in ‘Spoon’s car with him and pass around a bottle. Great memories.
My mom, Maggie Ryan Denver, work there the summer of 1958. She also worked at The Unicorn.
