Beatles at John F. Kennedy International Airport

On February 7th, 1964, more than 10,000 screaming teenagers welcomed The Beatles as they disembarked from PanAm Flight 101 on their first ever visit to the U.S.

On February 9th, the Beatles made their first live U.S. television appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

Two days after they were on the Ed Sulivan Show, on February 11th, the Beatles’ made their first U.S. concert appearance at Washington Coliseum in Washington, D.C.

The following day, the Beatles performed a second concert at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Directly after the Carnegie Hall concert, the Beatles flew to Miami Beach and on February 16th made their second television appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show, which this time was broadcast live from the Napoleon Ballroom of the Deauville Beach Resort in Miami Beach, Florida.
