Blenheim Vineyards is located 20 minutes southeast of Charlottesville and was established by Dave Matthews of The Dave Matthews Band in 2000. Matthews’ involvement extends beyond investment as the tasting room building was designed with sustainability in mind, using reclaimed wood and passive solar design.
The estate has around 30 acres under vine across multiple sites in the Monticello AVA.
Grape varieties grown or used include Viognier, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, among others.
