Peter Tork was sentenced to four months in federal prison in 1972. Born Peter Halsten Thorkelson on February 1, 1942, Peter was arrested along with another man for possession of hashish at the age of 29.
Both men plead guilty before a district judge to a misdemeanor charge of possession of hashish. Peter spent four months in this federal prison located in Canadian County, Oklahoma.
