Former Location –
“Cosmo’s Factory” was the fifth album by Creedence Clearwater Revival, released in 1970. The name of the album comes from this ex-warehouse in Berkeley where the band rehearsed. Lead singer and guitarist John Fogerty was so demanding of perfection that drummer Doug “Cosmo” Clifford began referring to the place as “the factory”.

the picture shows an empty lot behind that car parked in front. i heard it got burnt down . anybody know when? thanks
I don’t know when, but the building there at 1230 now does not seem to be the original building. If you watch “Travelin’ Band” on Netflix, they show the original warehouse.
I believe it was in 2005
