Established in 1986, the Philadelphia Music Alliance (now permanently closed) was a community-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Philadelphia’s rich musical legacy by increasing awareness of the city’s great musical tradition and supporting the current music scene. Their best-known creation is the Walk of Fame, a must-see tourist attraction on Philadelphia’s dazzling Avenue of the Arts.
Current inductees include:
Danny and the Juniors
Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes
Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame
S. Broad Street between Walnut and Spruce Streets
Philadelphia PA 19109
Did they replace Phil Spector with Clara Ward?
Why, in the name of all that is good and holy is Jerry Ragavoy not on the walk of fame?
This seems to be an egregious omission.
I’m mean, it’s not like he’s borderline or anything. His body of work is voluminous, fir a veritable who’s who of the entertainment industry.
Please correct this oversight ASAP.
