Vocal Group Hall of Fame

The Vocal Group Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and preserving the legacy of vocal groups – especially those whose harmonies, recordings, television appearances and other media work made significant contributions to popular music.

The idea for the Hall of Fame was conceived by Tony Butala, a founding member of the vocal group The Lettermen in the early 1960s.

The Hall of Fame holds annual (or sometimes combined-year) induction ceremonies, awarding what they call the “Harmony Award” (sometimes nicknamed the “Harmy”).
