Former Location –
After 40 Years serving Los Angeles, Aron’s Records closed its doors to the public… bummer.
They had a mind-boggling selection of used CD’s and records. New stuff too. Incredible selection of promotional pieces for sale.

Whew! I got like almost a hundred CDs…cheers and all the best!
I used to go to the old location on Melrose. I could find ANYTHING in there! It wasn’t the same when it moved—the hip factor seemed to be gone.
yea. the old Melrose store had a better atmosphere a very good selection…
I stole a cassette tape from there, and I was an employee there too. But got caught and was fired in the kindest gentlest way possible. Tony was the boss at the time and he should’ve hammered me. But he just pulled me in the office and told me that it was time for us to separate. I knew exactly what had happened. And to this day I am grateful it wasn’t handled another way. Even sent them money years later for the theft. But didn’t really help my conscience. Still bothers me.
I lived in Hollywood around 88-92 (moved from MD for music). After I discovered Aarons, I was a regular customer. Many offerings at killer prices (promos and such). Sad that the business is gone…
