Former Location –
Tim “Ripper” Owens, who was the singer for Judas Priest between 1996 and 2003 owned this tavern. Owens fronted a Priest tribute band before joining the real Judas Priest in place of Rob Halford in 1996. His story was the inspiration for the 2001 film Rock Star.
In August 2015. “Bar Rescue,” a popular Spike network series that does makeovers of struggling bars featured the bar which at the time was named Ripper’s Rock House. The transformation that ensued saved the bar from closing, at least until 2019.
The last day for live music was Sept. 3, 2019.
