Macola Records

Former Location –
Macola Records, founded in 1984 by Don MacMillan, was a pressing plant where up and coming artists could have 500 records pressed for $1,000. You only have to bring your master tapes and Macola did the production and distribution.

Macola became a favorite of many early L.A. hip-hop artists, including Egyptian Lover, The Lemons, Ferrante Brothers, Bobby Jimmy & The Critters and Eazy E.

In 2017 Macola Record Co. was purchased by Lee “DJ Flash” Johnson of The Rappers Rapp Group.
