I remember “Talk Talk” by The Music Machine on Original Sound Records. So I’m given to assume it was recorded here. I always thought about that record every time I drove by.
We actually recorded the single at RCA recording studios across from cinema dome. The rest of the album which did record at the original sound studios…
I remember the Chi-Lites had a big hit with “My Wedding Cake Tipped Over!” It was recorded here in one take in 1966. The song was 40 minutes long so they had to edit it down to 2:45, which was neither easy nor pleasant. Man, u never heard such vapid, empty-headed rock n’ roll in your life. My God, it was EXCRUCIATINGLY EGREGIOUS!!
