Entertainers from around the world have performed here such as KISS, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Bee Gees, Elton John, Simon and Garfunkel, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Genesis, Eric Clapton, U2, The Dave Matthews Band and in August, 2003, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

On May 20, 1969, Peter Cetera, the bass player for the band Chicago after just finishing a tour, decided to take in a baseball game. He went to Dodger Stadium, where his beloved Cubs were playing the Dodgers. In the crowd were some Marines who noticed his long hair, and  didn’t like the ‘hippie’ look. They beat him so badly that they broke his jaw in 3 places and he lost four teeth. He spent five hours in surgery and two days in intensive care.

Because he had to have his jaw wired shut, it changed the way he sang after the wires were removed.
