Pasadena Civic Auditorium

Opened in 1932, the Civic Auditorium is probably best known for hosting the Motown 25th Anniversary television show in 1983. The highlight of the show was Michael Jackson introducing the now famous “Moonwalk” in his performance of “Billie Jean“.

On June 2, 1967, “The Pasadena JC Presents in Concert” was held at the Auditorium, performers included Love, The Doors, Canned Heat and the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band
