Former Location –
Opened in 1965 and owned by Elmer Valentine, who also owned and operated the nearby Whisky A Go Go, The Trip featured quality acts such as The Velvet Underground, Donovan, The Byrds and The Turtles.

The Trip was located in a former jazz club called the Crescendo. There also was a comedy club upstairs called the Interlude. The Trip was short lived, having closed in May 1967.
