Former Location –
When the Doors were first starting out in Los Angeles, they played at a number of short-lived venues such as the Warner Playhouse. The Playhouse had a “Night Flight” series of after hour concerts that generally ran from 2-4 in the morning after the other clubs closed.
On May 6th, 7th, 13th & 14h 1966 the Doors played here after their shows at the London Fog which was later known as Duke’s Coffee Shop.

The Doors also played two live shows in Monrovia, Ca. One in the auditorium at Monrovia High School and the other At the Masonic Temple on Foothill Blvd.
I have heard the first venue they ever played was at the Westchester Womens Club which is now part of the YMCA. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
