The Bitter End West opened November 23, 1970, and closed 3 years later. Major studios Elektra and Warner Bros jointly financed the creation of the Bitter End West club. The venue was formerly known as Thee Club which had a short run as listed below .  The original Bitter End, for more than a decade was one of New York’s most successful night spots. 

Admission prices ranged from $3 to $4.
