I went to West Hempstead High School! Class of 91 And I had no clue that recording studio was there that was not a good neighborhood
It was a nice middle class neighborhood in the 1970s when I recorded there.
I recorded here in Ultra Sonic Studio 1 with Rich and Vince, Jerry Schneyer, Barry Geller, Larry Whyte, and Bob Marchand.
Our engineer was always John Bradley.
My dad recorded at the original location for Ultra Sonic Studios in 1963. His polka band The Boys From Brooklyn did a session on 3 track 1/2 inch tape Ampex 351 recorder. I was 5 at the time and watched from the control room. I was so impressed with recording that it became a lifelong ambition after that day.
