Per a Rolling Stone magazine interview, Hendrix said:
“I only met him once, about three years ago, back at the Kettle of Fish. That was before I went to England. I think both of us were pretty drunk at the time, so he probably doesn’t remember it.”
“I don’t know if anyone has done my songs better,” Dylan once said specifically referring to “All Along the Watchtower” and “Like a Rolling Stone.”
Established in 1950, Kettle of Fish is a Greenwich Village neighborhood bar still going strong.
