El Corazón In Seattle WA, Formerly The Off Ramp – Pearl Jam’s First Gig

Formerly “The Off Ramp“, El Corazón has hosted pretty much every band to come out of or through Seattle. Pearl Jam played their first gig here under their original name of Mookie Blaylock. Mookie was an NBA player just like Earl “The Pearl” Monroe. Apparently the guys in Pearl Jam like basketball.

Alice in Chains was the house band here on Friday nights for a long time.
