
Laguna Seca Raceway
Laguna Seca Raceway is a paved road racing track on the Central Coast of California used for both auto racing and motorcycle racing, built in 1957 near both Salinas and Monterey, California.
The most legendary musical events at Laguna Seca were the shows by Grateful Dead, who turned the racetrack into a sprawling open-air concert ground. The band performed here five times in 1987, including two shows in May and three consecutive nights in July.
