Thee Image was Miami’s best known psychedelic rock club in the ’60’s, even though it was only open for about a year. The venue hosted many early rock acts such as Led Zeppelin, The Grateful Dead, Ten Years After and Frank Zappa. I and my friends attended just about every concert at that venue. It was a converted bowling alley and we sat on the floor during concerts. Eric Clapton liked the area so much he bought a home on Golden Beach and named an album after it. Great memories, great concerts!
