Frost was a great venue for a 17 year old looking for Summer fun during the 1970s. The perimeter was loosely guarded and allowed an opportunity to sneak in for free. My favorite concerts featured Stoneground and Mother Earth featuring Tracy Nelson. After climbing the fence backstage I had the opportunity to hang with a group that included Eric Burden who was a complete, arrogant ass. I think he felt insecure in the midst of better talent! Haha!
I can remember a Peter, Paul and Mary concert (not exactly Rock ‘n’ Roll) at Frost in late 1963.
